Jung told Sul to call him Oppa, and she shot him down
Euntaek learned to do a scarier face than Jung (wow military is scary)
Inho is also doing pretty good now. Those who were asking for him got what they wanted hopefully.
And this actually almost made my water works start
Wow Sul finally graduated. Honestly, the end was fairly abrupt but it was much better than I thought, so I'll take it. I'm still frustrated that I didn't get to see what happened that night though.
That was the end, I feel sorry for those who were fooled until the very end like me. I was so frustrated up to the point where I was running out of chapter and still no Jung resolution. I'm still pissed at not knowing what the heck happened between those two after, although now it's easy to assume.
I was ready to take out my pitchfork but in my defense she went to painful lengths to deliberately make it look like they broke up... I haven't still quite processed that this is it
EDIT: I'm done with the translation. And by the way, don't go around spoiling the guys from the webtoon place about the ending, that would be a d*ck move, don't do that. Promise.

DeleteOverall, I am pleased with the ending. It looks like Jung finally changed, just a little, for the better. Sul became honest enough with her feeling to be able to cry, finally. The only thing I cannot accept is Inho's new hair style, ha ha. I'm so glad we got to see what was up with him too. The pacing at the end wasn't the greatest, but I think I would rate this as one of the best comic series I have ever read.

I really hated how this ending was rushed.
I at least wanted to find out what happened that night with Jung.... Soonki went full retard an skipped everything.... for once I thought SHE would be the right author who wouldn't have such a horrendous ending but yep.... great writer... until they get to the ending and have writer fail syndrome.
But at least they're together.... I don't know how but.... I guess soonki wanted to trick us instead of giving us a decent ending.
She thought she was clever but actually wasn't?
Anyways.... I hope we get an epilogue or a spin off of this story like with Sul and Jung's daugther/son and their paths in life.
Sul is gonna be marrying him and living a life of luxury I bet..... she deserves it.
Since 2013 I've been reading this every wednesday and now I'll have nothing to look forward to on wed... ;__;
As much as I hate this ending I did love the story so much.... I hope Soonki writes a realistic story like this again (maybe this time have it be about a man?) and maybe that time she'll have a better ending.

ReplyDeleteAnd the feel... THE FEEL. When the piano started, I was overwhelmed. Glad to see Inha having therapy and Inho finally reconciliated with himself. And for the Sul-Jung part I couldn't have imagined better thank you for this peaceful ending Soonki.
It's sad to think it's over now we won't got to see them anymore.. I hope there's gonna be an epilogue.
Just one thing is bothering me it's the way it ended abruptly I mean we were here each week for a little bit of a very detailed moment of Sul's life and BAM in two chapters it's over. Was the author in a hurry? Or is it on purpose?
Anyway I'm glad I got to see the end of this webtoon one of my favorites with a bunch of crazy and very interesting characters and a good characters development.

DeleteI don't know what to say or feel, I'll choose happiness bc OMGGGGGGG THEY ARE STILL TOGETHER MY HEART IS MELTING💕💕💕💕 but then "I think agh this could have ended up so much better" I'm still going to miss this webtoon a lot, it meant and still means so much to me. I have always apreciated how realistic this history has been, not that cliche as other webtoons, and with these really complex characters. Nothing compares seriously, you could always see how well Soonki thought most of the things through and her dedication too. Even if this last chapters were dissapointing in that sense, I still think that Soonkki is a genious and I'm always always always going to admire her work

ReplyDeleteIt's finally done... after looking at the raw version, I thought, "this is it... what happens after this? What am I to do with my life now?" and then there's at least an hour of pause, as I imagine what really happened with Seol and Jung that night. Hehe, I guess that's what happens when good comics/series ends. This is honestly my most favorite of all. I'll still wait for next week, maybe Soonkki decides to write a bonus chapter.
